yesterday was a pretty horrid day actually. but then again, i have alot to be thankful for. honestly, when i first saw my name, my intial reaction was a strong sense of disappointment coupled with 'shit' coming out of my mouth. i was racking my brains trying to figure out what other subject i had screwed up besides hcl.
walking on stage and smiling my trademark fake smile was a blur as i looked on enviously at my other classmates who did better than i did.
upon receiving the result slip i was wondering what the hell culd have gone wrong. finally realising that it was my stinking english that gave me the dreaded a2, i got a huge shock. my english you know. arghhhhh. i was so upset and yes, i cried. very stupidly. haha.
yeah. but still, as i look back, i realised i have been very blessed. i remember God telling me that my results will be unexpected. He didnt tell me whether they'll be good or bad. i know i hoped for more, but He did fulfill His promise. i felt that the languages were pretty easy but the sciences and humans were terrible. however, the results proved otherwise. my 2 a2s came from english and hcl but the rest were fine. i guess its God's way trying to tell me that my english is really the pits and i should start reading and writing more instead of doodling or day dreaming.
so yeah, thanks to God i did reasonably well. and whether or not i'll stay in raffles is another story. firstly, its so boring we all look at eyecandies and get so happy when we see them. its THAT retarded. ahahha. so freaking funny. secondly, i dont really like sailing. maybe cos i've only sailed for the trials and havent really done anything else. so yeah.
and hc's really fun i think. everyone there is having a ball of a time. im so sad im stuck in raffles now. boo. and another plus point is judo. i miss my team mates terribly and im starting to miss the sport allooooottt. :(
oh yeah. God is good. my super good friend eunice got 10a1s. so did seetoh! :) go check them out in the papers doing spastic poses. heehee. but God promised to give eunice 8a1s for the prelims and 10a1s for the o levels. and obviously, it materialised. God is good. :)
okay, i still have a disgusting econs essay and gp essay to write. so toodles. :)
